In October, it was down to the last two teams, the Chicago Cubs, of the National League, and the Cleveland Indians of the American League. In a sudden turn of events, the Cubs wrapped everything up in game 7 and brought home the trophy! The last time the Cubs won was 1908! That was a long time ago and many Cubs fans have been eager for a win. The last time the Indians won was 1948! The World Series is the finals in baseball and determines who the best team was for that season. One funny thing is in Back to the Future Ⅱ , Marty McFly predicted that the Cubs would win the World Series in 2015, although this was a year off, it wasn’t too bad of a prediction. We hope you all enjoyed the outcome of the 2016 World Series, if your team didn’t make it this year, there is always a 2017!
