Sadly, our beloved parent coordinator Mrs. Meyers is retiring, but before she did we got a couple of questions as we said goodbye.
Q1: Can you tell us a little bit about your job? A1: “My job is to serve as the liaison between the parents and staff in the school. I do events writing, partnerships, and im one of the coordinators of best buddies’’. Q2: How long have you been working at 185? A2: “11.5 years” Q3: What are your plans after 185? A3: “I am retiring to spend with my family and to explore more career opportunities.” Q4: What was your job before 185? A4: “I was a museum educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and I raised two boys.” Q5: what is your favorite memory from 185 ? A5: “ I have so many memories that it is hard for me to choose one, but what i must enjoy is working with students and parents.” Q6: What are some of your interests? A6: “ Yoga, reading, travel, to be creative, and to give back” Q7: how do you hope Bleeker will continue to grow after you have left? A7: “ I think that Bleeker has become an awesome place for middle middle school students to learn and grow, and I hope that it continues to play a crucial positive role in the lives of our students, their families, and our community.”
